208 Words in postsBlepharoplasty eyelid surgery is an efficient and cosmetic surgical process intended to reshape or reform the upper or lower eyelid by removal or deduction of excess tissues.
Upper eyelid blepharoplasty is usually performed to improve peripheral vision while Lower eyelid blepharoplasty is almost always done for cosmetic reasons. To remove those puffy lower eyelid “bags”.
There are two main types of Blepharoplasty the transconjunctival and transcutaneous. Transconjuctivital wherein the opening is made through the inside of the eyelid and transcutaneous wherein the incision made through the outer skin.
It is actually my first time to hear about this. I didn’t know that there’s also a surgery for the eyelids. 
As what I’ve searched, blepharoplasty is the third most popular cosmetic surgery procedure for both men and women. Most of the patients tend to be older, 55.5% of them is older than 50. Because it is really unusual for a young person to undergo this kind of surgery since most of them doesn’t have very droopy eyelids or uber big eyebags.
